The Bamboo Leader

I work with senior leaders who are frustrated that their teams in China are not performing to their potential. This is often due to a lack of cross cultural experience from leaders. I help them to understand the most common challenges faced by leading teams in China, give them practical tools and techniques to apply with their teams, and support the integration and development of their team. This results in more productive teams who spend less time resolving side-issues and more energy focused on driving the business forward.

In The Bamboo Leader, you will learn why cross cultural leadership is an essential skill for managers today. This energetic and practical speech uses the metaphor of bamboo to create a picture of how leadership skills can be learned quickly and systematically.

“Leadership is an over-used but not understood skill in China.  While organisations today are in dire need of leadership skills, many people are not clear on what being a leader actually means and more importantly what they need to do. The Bamboo Leader makes it easy to see how you are a leader and your organisation needs you to grow into a leader today.” - Warwick John Fahy, Creator of The Bamboo Leader

Cultural Intelligence

Warwick has worked on outplacement assignments to help clients maintain a positive outlook and practically support them through tough changes.

Quick Thinking
Warwick has helped management teams to improve their quick thinking and ability to work together by using improvisation techniques adapted from the theater and improvisational comedy fields. This high energy and fully immersive approach helps executives master challenging soft skills in a safe fun environment. Executives who have to face media or handle hostile questioning have benefited from these sessions.
